Nestled in the northeast corner of Marathon County, the Town of Easton is a warm, rural community where neighbors know each other and local traditions still thrive. Just a short drive from Wausau, we’re part of the Wausau Metropolitan Area, offering both quiet country living and convenient access to city amenities.
Easton spans 42.9 square miles of beautiful Wisconsin countryside, home to rolling farmland, scenic open spaces, and close-knit neighborhoods. According to the 2020 U.S. Census, 1,148 residents call Easton home. Within our town, you’ll also find the unincorporated communities of Johnson, Kalinke, and part of Sunset.
At an elevation of 1,322 feet, Easton offers fresh air, peaceful surroundings, and plenty of room to grow. Families, farmers, and small businesses have all found their place here.
